TERMS OF SERVICE Last updated: October 2025 AGREEMENT TO TERMS By booking lessons with Güd Vibes DJ School ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all DJ lessons, consultations, and related services provided. LESSON POLICIES Booking and Payment: - Lessons must be paid in full at time of booking - Payment is non-refundable except as outlined in our satisfaction guarantee - Bundle packages must be used within 6 months of purchase Cancellation Policy: - 24-hour notice required for cancellations - Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) forfeit the lesson - Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis Rescheduling: - Lessons may be rescheduled with 24-hour notice - Maximum of 2 reschedules per lesson - Instructor illness or emergency allows full rescheduling SATISFACTION GUARANTEE If you are not satisfied with your first single lesson, we will provide a full refund with no questions asked. This guarantee applies only to single lesson purchases and must be claimed within 24 hours of the lesson completion. PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE Students who complete the 8-lesson Performance Bundle are guaranteed a performance slot at our local events, subject to: - Completion of all 8 lessons within 6 months - Demonstration of competent mixing skills - Availability of suitable event slots - Performance slots are typically 30-45 minutes - Student must provide 30-day advance notice of event preference LIABILITY AND EQUIPMENT Students are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence. Normal wear and tear is expected and covered. Güd Vibes DJ School is not liable for any personal injuries that may occur during lessons. Students participate at their own risk. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All lesson materials, techniques, and methodologies remain the intellectual property of Güd Vibes DJ School. Students may use learned techniques for personal and professional purposes but may not teach or redistribute the specific lesson content without permission. AGE REQUIREMENTS Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during booking and must provide written consent. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring minors follow all safety guidelines and terms of service. CODE OF CONDUCT Students are expected to: - Treat equipment with respect - Arrive on time for scheduled lessons - Come prepared and engaged to learn - Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor - Follow all studio rules and safety guidelines We reserve the right to terminate services for students who violate our code of conduct, with no refund provided. CHANGES TO TERMS We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. DISPUTE RESOLUTION Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through mediation in Roselle, Illinois. If mediation fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with Illinois state law.
